There are several international airports in the vicinity of Imola, the closest, of course, being Bologna, which offers connections to a number of European destinations. You can also use the large airports in Venice or Florence. For travel from non-European destinations, the most common airport is Milan. 

Bologna Airport is connected to bus and train services that take you to Imola. The more distant airports offer very comfortable connections to Bologna via high-speed trains, but these are quite expensive.

Forli Airport is only about 30 kilometres from Imola. However, it just offers regional connections around Italy, with regular international flights only to Tirana in Albania and Lodz in Poland.

Rimini’s medium-sized airport, about an hour from the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit, offers more options.
